2016 Knicks Fan Appreciation

On the final game of the 2015-16 season, the Knicks planned to recognize their fans for the support they provided throughout the season.  With additional support from Chase, Anthony worked with the partnership account team to execute a Fan Appreciation platform that created special experiences for many fans to enjoy in and out of the building.  Anthony created a week's work of activities that included community visits, digital prizing and the in-game activation.  In working with the Community and Fan Development and Event Presentation teams, the Knicks were able to impact two local communities with events, tap into the alumni network to bring back several distinguished alumni and capitalize on the in-game contests and content opportunities for Chase.

On April 10 vs. Toronto, the Knicks opened the doors early for select subscribers to enjoy pre-game shoot around, giveaways and an exclusive window to meet and greet 14 Knicks alumni.  Once doors opened, the Knicks alumni were stationed around the concourses to sign autographs and meet fans until tipoff.  All Knicks fans received a full-team poster giveaway, several lucky fans were surprised with an autographed jersey courtesy of the alumni, and 15 fans were invited on-court post-game to receive a jersey from a Knicks player.  Despite a highly contested loss being the result, many of the fans walked away with giveaways and smiles and the Knicks players closed the season giving away their jerseys and tossing t-shirts and mini balls into the crowd to the fans.
