New York Knicks Team Publications

Starting with the 2015-16 season, Anthony inherited the ownership of the New York Knicks team publications, NYKPress and annual team yearbook.

The NYKPress game program had been minimized to a team pictorial with limited content and exposure for Knicks programs.  Anthony worked with Public Relations to evaluate all content and developed a strategy for the team magazine.  Together with team historian, Dennis D’Agostino, NYKPress was revamped with compelling content and works within the guidelines of the printer contractual agreement to deliver the brand narrative of the Knicks to the fan base.  Anthony identified advertising inventory within the magazine for team programs and maximized team resources to improve the end product quality.  NYKPress has a three cover rotation and includes four issues which are updated quarterly.  NYKPress is the official game programs of the New York Knicks and is sold at every home game.

The New York Knicks Yearbook is the annual team publication of the team that takes the fan closer to the team with insightful content and photo spreads of the players.  The entire team is featured in artistic portraits captured by photographer Jason McDonald, the players are in posed action and highlighted by black and white textured close ups.  In addition to the captivating imagery, D’Agostino provides stories that bring fans closer to the team while remaining pages are dedicated to highlight the Knicks efforts with their alumni and in the New York community.

In both projects, Anthony oversaw the pagination and development of the entire projects from draft to fulfillment, advising on brand elements in design, routing for approval, proof review and monitoring production to delivery.
