Rangerstown TV Spots

Throughout the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons, the Rangers created ten commercials featuring 22 players that emphasized the values of the Rangerstown campaign.  Each spot was developed to showcase the players in a welcoming and inviting setting realistic to the tri-state area while also being insightful to the players off-ice characteristics.  This approach allowed the spot to appeal to casual fans and true blue die hards.  Anthony worked with internal marketing team and hired agencies to develop scripts and concepts, consulted on casting and approving shoot locations.  Anthony oversaw production logistics for the players for each shoot including scheduling, transportation and equipment.

Once produced Anthony coordinated a synchronized launch for each of the spots working with the digital team to tease spot ahead of unveiling and debuting the spots in-game on broadcast and in-arena before posting full versions on web.  Each shoot was covered on video by the New York Rangers to capture additional behind the scenes content.  Anthony worked with digital team to unveil a series of outtakes that were strategically posted to provide additional player exposure and extend the life of each spot.  All videos from the spots have been viewed over 350K times on team digital outlets.
